You Don’t Have to Carry it Alone.

You’re the one who keeps going, even when it feels like too much.

Anxiety, past hurts, or the weight of constant responsibility leave you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself. Burnout has crept in, and no matter how hard you try, it feels like you can’t catch your breath.

I help caregivers, helpers, and highly empathetic people find relief from anxiety, heal the impact of trauma, and recover from burnout. I also support teens and adults navigating the emotional toll of chronic illness, especially Type 1 diabetes.

How Therapy Works Here

Healing doesn't happen by pushing harder.

In our work together, we'll slow down and explore what’s underneath the exhaustion.

I use:
EMDR for trauma and emotional stuckness
Mindfulness & somatic tools to reconnect with your body and calm your nervous system
Boundary work & values clarification to help you live in alignment
ACT/DBT skills to build resilience, self-compassion, and emotional flexibility

Therapy is collaborative, not prescriptive. You set the pace. I bring the tools. We figure it out together.

Janie Coon, LCSW

Therapist, Founder

I’m Janie Coon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 3 years of one-on-one counseling experience and 6+ years of specialized education in mental health. My clients describe me as deeply present, intuitive, and the kind of therapist who actually gets it.

This work isn’t surface-level for me. I’ve built a reputation for offering a therapeutic relationship that’s honest, consistent, and truly supportive — the kind that clients often return to months or years later when life shifts again and they want to reconnect.

I specialize in working with people who are burned out from giving too much — at work, in their relationships, or in caregiving roles. Together, we slow down, tune in, and create a life where you can breathe again.
