My Approach

I offer trauma-informed therapy with a focus on boundaries, identity, and nervous system healing. Whether you're navigating burnout, unresolved trauma, or the emotional toll of chronic illness, you don't have to do it alone. I'm trained in EMDR, which I often integrate to help clients process experiences that continue to shape the present.

I have a special interest in supporting those living with or caring for someone with chronic illness, including Type 1 diabetes. I also work with individuals exploring faith transitions or recovering from spiritual trauma—especially within high-demand religious environments like the LDS (Mormon) church.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Together, we’ll gently uncover what’s beneath the exhaustion and move toward rest, self-trust, and emotional resilience. I offer telehealth therapy across Utah and North Carolina. If you're ready to feel like yourself again, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

More About Me!

I grew up in a small town just south of Seattle, Washington, nestled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Coming from a large family with many siblings, I often found myself stepping into the “older sister” role—something that has shaped who I am and the way I relate to others. I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from BYU-Idaho, and soon after, I had the incredible opportunity to teach English in Kyiv, Ukraine—an experience that remains one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

After spending a few years working in social work, I pursued my Master of Social Work degree at Boise State University, graduating in 2022. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to my work as a licensed clinical social worker, supporting others on their healing journeys.

In 2023, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes—an experience that changed my life in unexpected ways. Living with a chronic illness has been deeply challenging, but it has also given me a kind of understanding that can't be learned from a textbook. It’s allowed me to connect more personally and empathetically with clients navigating their own health journeys, and I carry that perspective into my work every day.

When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me curled up with my Kindle, exploring the neighborhoods of Raleigh, North Carolina, walking my dog, or discovering new foods to try.
